I had a very good experience with ETS so far. The booking process was done through whatsapp and they organized transportation for me (60k for both ways - what others will ask for nowadays). I waited a bit for the boda guy (thanks Onya Omar!) but just the understandable for rainy days in Mbale - roads get very mudy and is difficult to move around. Upon arrival I paid the park fee (35USD) and the 1 day hike fee (150k if I remember correctly), then was transported by boda to be received by the hikers team. My guide, Nicolas, was a very gentle, knowledgeable and strong person. He showed me tons of stuff around during the hike and several tips how to deal with the terrain. Going up was easier for me than going down, slippery trail and rain made it a bit difficult, but he was very patient and helpful. In the middle of the hike we made a stop for lunch and coffee with one of the residents of the mountain, very nice person too. I can just recommend them to you - they also offer one of the best prices ranges I could find, they are very responsive and well organized. Thanks ETS!
